1. Who we are

Yukti Compress (compress.yuktiapp.in) is run by Yukti Apps, India. It makes photos and PDFs smaller so they can be uploaded to websites. For any question about this policy, write to admin@yuktiapp.in.

2. Your files

• The file you upload is made smaller in the server's memory. The original is not written to storage and is gone as soon as the work is finished.
• The smaller file (and, when payment applies, the free copy with a watermark) is kept in private storage only so you can download it. It is deleted automatically within 24 hours. If you are signed in with Google, it is kept for 7 days so you can download it again from “My files”, then deleted. “Delete” deletes it at once.
• Only someone with the link from your browser can download it. We do not save the file name.
• No person at Yukti Apps opens, reads or copies your files, and they are not used to train any software.

3. What we record

To run and improve the service we keep a small record of each file job, without the file itself:

• the purpose you chose (for example “Aadhaar”), file type, number of pages, size before and after, the target size, how long it took, and whether it worked;
• whether a payment was made, its amount, and the Razorpay order and payment ids;
• simple page events such as “opened page”, “chose file”, “downloaded”, and whether you used a phone or a computer;
• a random number created in your browser, so these events can be grouped into one visit. It does not tell us who you are.

If you sign in with Google

Google (through Firebase Authentication) tells us your name, email address, profile picture link and a Google account id. We use them only to show you your own files and to let you sign in again. We link your file records to your account. Delete your account in “My files” to remove these details and all your files at once.

Your internet (IP) address is used for a short time in memory to stop misuse (too many files from one place). It is not saved with these records. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security for a limited time.

These records hold no file contents, name, phone or email (only an account link if you signed in). We keep them for up to 2 years for statistics, accounts and tax, then delete them.

4. Cookies and browser storage

• “lang” cookie: remembers Hindi or English.
• Browser storage: the random visit number, and your last file job so you can come back to it within 24 hours.
• If you sign in: Firebase keeps you signed in on this browser until you sign out.
• Google Analytics cookies, to count visits and see which pages help people.

We use no advertising cookies.

5. Services we use

• Microsoft Azure (Central India region): runs the website and stores the smaller files for up to 24 hours.
• Razorpay: handles payments when they apply. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay, never to us; we receive only a payment id and status. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
• Google Fonts: supplies the letters (fonts) used on the page.
• Google Firebase Authentication: Google sign-in, only if you choose to sign in.
• Google Analytics: visit counts (see above).

We do not sell, rent or trade any data. We share it only with the services above to run the site, or when required by Indian law.

6. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Stored files are private and can be fetched only through this website. Staff access to the systems is limited and protected by sign-in.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete your file at any time with “Delete my file now”, and your account with all its files in “My files”. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or raise a complaint. Write to us with the date and time of your visit (and the payment id, if you paid) so we can find the records. We reply within 30 days.

8. Children

The service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect any data about children.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
